Lou Be Doo filter fuzz
The Lou Be Doo is a gated, compressed, "all or nothing" fuzz pedal with a filter reminiscent of the analog synths of the past. Works great for both guitar and bass.
In fuzz mode chords are thick and heavy. And filter mode can provide synthy, distinctive leads. Be warned though, the Lou Be Doo is not a subtle effect.
The Lou Be Do is based on the Crash Sync circuit, but this version has been heavily modified. Along with the volume and filter controls of the original circuit, the Lou Be Doo has a voltage control, a hi-cut knob, a filter range switch, a mode selector, an expression pedal input, and improved power filtering.
Features:
Volume - controls total output. Just a word of note, this is a loud pedal.
Filter - controls the frequency of the filter.
Voltage - reduces voltage to the filter portion of the circuit. This changes the character of the filter. Reducing the voltage makes the filter much more vocal-like when used with an expression pedal.
Hi-cut - cuts high frequencies - a must with certain filter settings.
Range - changes the frequency range of the Filter knob.
Mode - toggles between Filter mode and Fuzz mode.
Expression input jack - control the filter frequency by adding a passive expression pedal.
LED brightness internal trimpot - Changes the brightness of the status LED. It's useful if you want a bright LED indicator for playing on a sunny stage or a dimmer LED for indoors.
